Easter egg hunt
Children attending this event will be engaged in fun activities such as: face painting, storytelling, and a grand Easter egg hunt, where hundreds of eggs will be hidden on the grounds of the library. There will be special prizes awarded to the children who find the most eggs. This entire event is free of charge. Face painting will be done for registered participants by the Easter bunnies, who will be making a special visit to the library, from 10:00am-11:00am. Rotaract Sunrise set aside the month of March to promote literacy, which is also at the core of PJL’s goals. It is with these merged goals in mind, that an interactive storytelling time will be held from 11:00am – 11:30am. To participate in this event, please register at the library from Monday, March 25 to Friday, March 29. Space is limited so children are urged to register as early as possible to secure their spot. Children taking part in this event will be provided with refreshments and a special “goody” bag, along with all the Easter eggs they have collected. Parents are encouraged to bring their children to this fun-filled family event. For more information on this event please call the library at 542-2970.
