Lecture on labor law at the library
Are you fully informed about the labor laws that exist on Sint Maarten? If not, then you must not miss the last lecture in the Power of Knowledge series. The session by Nikima Groeneveldt-Hickinson will inform you about all aspects of labour law. The matters that will be discussed are: legislation, the Sint Maarten labor market, worker’s rights and responsibilities, employer’s rights and responsibilities, basic definitions of players, the types of contracts, and much more.

It is important to know and exercise your rights and the Power of Knowledge sessions are being organised to help equip people with knowledge with which they can better manage their lives and take control of any situation they may be facing. The library strives to do this by inviting experts from the business sector and government to speak and share their vast knowledge on the topics at hand.

All are invited to attend this informative and essential lecture on labor law at the Philipsburg Jubilee Library. For any questions please telephone the library at 542 2970.
