Library celebrates 35 years of service by Shirley Richardson
Shirley Richardson was a staff member of the library since the days that the library was situated in a small building in Back Street. She started out as circulation clerk in 1980 when the library only had four employees. Shirley can be described as hard-working, dedicated, and always cheerful. Since starting at the library Shirley has managed to work her way up to become the libraries circulation supervisor. Shirley also oversees the selection and acquisition of library books as well as the book box program.

The library would like to give Shirley Richardson a warm thank you for her 35 years of dedicated service. A staff luncheon will be organized later this month to celebrate Shirley’s jubilee.
