Library’s computer workshop for senior citizens a success
The Media Lab workshop instructed people with little to no experience with computers on how to use the computer, what types of computers there are and the different components of the computer. The senior citizens of the the helping hands foundation who attended this workshop were very pleased about the workshop and expressed great interest in attending this workshop again.

The basic course on how to use computers will be taught again on April 24th during an afternoon workshop that is open to the general public. In the month of May there will also be courses for beginners on how to use Facebook and courses for schoolchildren on how to make games and use programming code. If you are interested in attending one of the workshops at the Media Lab, you can register by going to www.medialabsintmaarten.com or call the library at 542-2970.
