The Philipsburg Jubilee Library will be launching its brand new afternoon story hour on every other Wednesday from 3 to 4pm.
Children visiting the library after school now have something new to look forward to. Wednesday, September 18 will signal the beginning of the library’s new bi-weekly afternoon story hours.
New bi-weekly Story Hour at the library
The theme for this story time session will be “No Clowning Around at Your Library”, focused on behavior in the library. After every story there will also be hands-on activities. This Wednesday visiting children can expect to get their face painted and also make their very own clown face from scratch. The story hour is open to children ages 6 to 12 years old.

At this time, the library cannot accommodate after school care groups and child care centers for this story hour program. However, a special story hour can be scheduled for interested groups. For more information on future story hour events please contact Maryland Powell at 542-2970
