Statia Library’s Staff receive Koha Training

Services conducted two days of intensive workshops for the staff of the Gertrude Judson Bicentennial Public Library (GJBPL), on June 16 to June 17, 2014 on St. Maarten. GJBL is upgrading to the KOHA-Liblime software that will link their online resources with PJL becoming the hosting partner.

Staff of the library received training on digital cataloguing and circulation. Once implemented, this digitalization of inventory will allow library users at GJBL to access available resources online and place holds on books.

The digitalization upgrade of the library was made possible with funding from the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.
