The Philipsburg Jubilee Library will be hosting its monthly, Saturday, story time at 11:00am on Saturday, January 25th 2014 0.
Every last Saturday of the month, the library conducts story time sessions for visiting children. This Saturday’s, storyteller, Joseanne Peterson, will be reading from one of the library’s children’s books called “Singing with momma Lou by ” by Linda Jacobs Altman.
Story time features “Singing with momma Lou by Linda Jacobs Altman” this Saturday
in recognition of Alzheimer’s month, this Saturday’s story will show how nine-year-old Tamika uses photographs, school yearbooks, movie ticket stubs, and other mementos to try to restore the memory of her grandmother, who has Alzheimer's disease. After story time, children will make their very own family tree and also do an Alzheimer awareness activity.
