Attention all experienced and passionate leaders in the library field! We are excited to announce an opening for the position of General Manager at the Sint Maarten Library.
As the General Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of dedicated professionals and work towards providing excellent library services to our community.

The Sint Maarten Library is a cornerstone of our community, and we are seeking a dynamic leader who is committed to promoting literacy, education, and lifelong learning. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in managing libraries, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities of the General Manager will include overseeing day-to-day operations, developing and implementing policies and procedures, managing the library's budget, and supervising staff. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing programs and services that meet the needs of our community, building partnerships with local organizations and schools, and promoting the library as a valuable community resource.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, management or a related field, at least five years of experience in a leadership role, and a deep understanding of library management best practices. Additionally, the candidate should have a passion for community engagement and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
