The Philipsburg Jubilee Library is celebrating Black History Month for an entire week this year in February. Under its annual theme “PASSING ON OUR LEGACY” it has commenced on Saturday, February 18th and will draw to a close on Tuesday, February 28th.

The Philipsburg Jubilee Library, in collaboration with Safe Haven and Safe St. Maarten/ St. Martin will be launching its new series- The Power of Knowledge 2017. The first of many such informative and motivational evenings starts with the screening of the documentary, “ THE MASK YOU LIVE IN.” This information evening will be held on Thursday 9th February, 2017 from 6pm to 9.30pm

Successful for Christmas Market @ the Philipsburg Jubilee Library

The Philipsburg Jubilee Library’s annual Christmas Market once again hosted a successful market. Crafters from all over St. Maarten displayed their arts, crafts and their creativity. Shoppers shopped for one of – a kind gifts and decorations, and received incentive to return to 2017’s market. Many vendors and shoppers alike enjoyed the ambience and the Christmas spirit.

The Philipsburg Jubilee Library will be giving back to her faithful patron’s this Christmas season 2016, by offering two weeks of returning one’s long overdue books free of charge. This grace period starts on December 13th and will last until Friday December 23rd .

All overdue books can be returned free of charge and no questions will be asked.
