Philipsburg Jubilee Library, with the assistance of a visiting student, has launched a 3 week survey in which 6 high schools have participated. Other participants included USM, a number of professionals within the field of education, and other libraries in the Caribbean.

The Philipsburg Jubilee Library, in collaboration with the department of Social Services and Section Labor Market (SOD/SLM) have officially launched a new literacy program with a family reading evening that was held in the library.

The Philipsburg Jubilee Library is proud to announce a series of exciting media technology workshops. The intermediate level workshops will be offered to persons of all ages.

The Philipsburg Jubilee Library hosted a successful workshop for the senior citizens of the Helping hands foundation at the re-opening of the Media Lab.

Philipsburg Jubilee Library (PJL), with the assistance of a visiting student, will launch a 3 week survey with the goal to determine (1) how it can effectively communicate its services to young adults and (2) how it can further accommodate the educational and recreational needs of young adults.

Once again, PJ Library and USM are teaming up to provide an entertaining puppet show for our little ones. This spectacular puppet show will take place on Tuesday, April 14th, at your library. The puppet show will start at 5:45 pm sharp and will feature the story of Rapunzel and some Anansi folk tales.

The Philipsburg Jubilee Library will be re-opening the Digikidz Medialab this week. The Media lab was launched in 2014 and since then has hosted courses on a variety of topics in the area of multimedia

On Thursday, March 26th, the staff and management of the Philipsburg Jubilee Library (PJL) received a training on how to use a medical database, called Ovid, from the Wolters Kluwer company.

Three staff members of the Philipsburg Jubilee Library (PJL) were awarded with certificates for the completion of the Advanced e-course in Cataloging from the San Jose State University School of Information.

On Saturday, the 4th of April, the Philipsburg Jubilee Library will be hosting its grand annual Easter egg hunt, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of St. Maarten Sunrise. The event, which is for children aged 4-10 years old, will take place at the library from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.
