On Thursday, September 19 the Readers are Leaders annual reading program will be re-launching at the Philipsburg Jubilee Library at 6pm under the theme “A New Beginning”.
The Philipsburg Jubilee Library in collaboration with the Rotary Club of St. Martin Sunrise Club is recommencing its reading program aimed at all high school students. The main goal of the reading program is to encourage St Maarten’s teenagers to become avid readers.

The Philipsburg Jubilee Library will be launching its brand new afternoon story hour on every other Wednesday from 3 to 4pm.
Children visiting the library after school now have something new to look forward to. Wednesday, September 18 will signal the beginning of the library’s new bi-weekly afternoon story hours.

Do you like adventures? Would you like to read about a lizard on an adventure on St. Maarten? Then come to the Philipsburg Jubilee Library at 11:00am on Saturday, September 14 to get your chance.

The Philpsburg Jubilee Library in collaboration with the Lez Nez Cool will be showcasing a free Clown Show on Thursday August, 29 from 5 to 6pm.
Klusha and Yvan, two clowns from the company Les Nez Cool, specializing in Clown Theatre, will be performing “Little Red Riding Hood’s Trunk”, for kids ages 4 and older and their parents.

Senior Citizens pay a visit to the Library

PHILIPSBURG— On Thursday, August 15 residents of the St. Maarten’s Home visited the Philipsburg Jubilee Library.
The objective of the visit was to provide seniors with more contact with their community and thereby promoting a better quality of life.

Philipsburg Jubilee Library has already started with their special summer opening hours since the start of July.

The official launch of the all-new second edition of The Incomplete Guide to the Wildlife of St. Martin is happening Tuesday, July 23rd at the Jubilee Library in Philipsburg.

Thursdays are all about fun at the Philipsburg Jubilee Library.
As part of the Library’s summer program, this Thursday July 11, from 5:30 – 7:45pm will be dedicated especially to family movie nights. The animated film, “Hotel Transylvania” will be shown.

On Friday, July 5, the Philipsburg Jubilee Library in collaboration with Movement for Music Dance Art and Entertainment powered by La Rich Arts & Entertainment Management presents the 4th edition of Spoken Lyrics, to be hosted at the Philipsburg Jubilee Library’s new Lounge, at 8 pm.

Philipsburg Jubilee Library will be hosting their summer movie Thursday, on July 4, from 5:30 – 7:45pm.
